tranny question

I have a friend with a sr20ve and he got a 99 g20 trans. He is having issues with the driver side axle not going in ... I know it's a bitch sometimes to slap it in sometimes but he says it won't go in ... Are the axles differnt causing t not to go in?

Not knowing anything about the transmission in question (but knowing a lot about the B13 transmission) I'd bet he's just having the same trouble we all have getting it to go in completely.

Does it go in 70-90% of the way, or does it seem like the splines are just completely wrong and it won't go in past 20% or so?

Thanks guys he got it in ... It just was a pain to slapit on ... I know it sucks sometime to put it in but he said he was trying for 2 days ... He said it would go all the way in but would not clip
