10w30 Mobil 1 for the summer (will run that on track days as well)

I use mobile 1 5w30 it takes about 3.8qts. What should we use to break in cams since most of us use some type of synthetic oil?

Never heard of the stuff until you guys mentioned " Castrol edge Sport "
I know of Castrol but it is known as " Castrol Syntec " in a complete diffrent bottle also. I wonder if it is the same thing.

question....why is it that theres differences in the amount of oil that is used eg.
3.5 bottle
4 bottle
3.8 bottle
half a bottle is a good size difference and i asume that it shows on the dip stick that its full. could it be the thickness of the oil ???

mostly due to how much oil is still left in the car. mine only took 3.5qts. i put in 4 and it was way over and had to drain some out.
