never rely on the chain.

NEVER EVER EVR RELY ON the chain marks.

During assembly you will never know if the chain has jumped the lower sprocket.

Alwyas stick a dial guage in the bore, rotate the cran t osecond timing makr, then adjust a few degrees either side. to get 100% TDC.

The set cams relative to the head.

what would you guys do when installing aftermarket cam gears?

Attach them to the cams and put the chain on them.

and i Meant as far as installing adjustable cam gears, i had some CS gears an was going to use them an wanted to be sure all the info in this thread would apply to those While i had them +/-
