not saying there aren't, i'm comparing a stock VE and a stock DET, that's all, and i'd prefer a DET, i can quickly increase boost, etc..., etc.... etc.... to make it faster, dont have to worry about high compression like with a VE/VVL or whatever, that's why i was recommended not to boost a VE, atleast that what they told me not to do, i'm trying to compare apples to apples, not aplles to oranges....thats like saying there aren't DET's with GT28's or T4's with 600cc injector or whatever, that would eat your little VVL for breakfast, my neighbor has to S14 drift cars that i think he uses for autocross or whatever, he'll run some VVL's off the road

People who seem to talk about the VE are the ones that have no first hand experience with them.
rode in a VE, just a sentra with a VE, was intially impressed, then rode in my det with a t25......became unimpressed with the VE, i think that constitutes as first-hand experience.....
like i stated previously, my DET w/ a T25 is now slow, so i'm upgrading in the spring...
