Thread: What will it take?

i went 13.4 with just a sr20ve and sr16 cams. its not hard to run with close to 200whp

I have a question for all the guys running good times with their ve's. What traction aids are you using? In particular, are all of you running VLSD trannys, or perhaps VLSD + something else, or perhaps full LSD's?

i was running a stock ser box with slicks...

slicks or drag radials are the key to good times.
2.0 or less 60' with an sr20ve with boltons will get you a 13

this should be about the trap speeds. because the times are always dependant on how much traction you get off the line. id say if your looking to run mid 13s with slicks your looking to hit 100mph in the 1/4, which is 200whp give or take in a pretty stock chassis. hitting mid 13s on street tires of DR would take a bit more power, maybe 105-110 traps... but like i say its all depending on traction
