What will it take?
Ok guys post up what it will take to get a VE'd SER to go mid 13s.
Im talking about a nice car no gutted POS... Something you can drive to work with A/C and P/S.
What parts do you think it will take?

Please dont post if you dont own or been around a VE motor.

what year ser r we talking about.....b13 or b14???...... we need to know the weight of the car and driver first......

N60 MAF w/JWT PoPcharger
N1 Cams
CS Camgears +2/-2
Fidanza Flywheel
Fujitsubo Headers w/3inch collector and piping
Nismo FPR
Gspec WP and Crank pulley
Thermoblock spacers
Calum RT

My car has full interior, PS, and AC

Should be good for a high 13 pass.

There's a guy on here with a NX that did a 13.5 with DRs and a similar set up.

A stock 20ve with standard boltons and a 50shot...the end

it would be cool to kick on the no2 when the big cam switched on

Friends of mine done exactly that with close to a 100 shot (dry)

Really damaged some poor soul's ego in his turbo civic on 1.2bar boost making 270whp, especially as he thought the car was naturally aspirates cause the no2 was fitted out of sight

guys I have a ve with i/h/e clutch and a 9lbs flywheel and on dead tires I did a 19.9 spining 1st /2nd I think if I would have had good tires I could get 13.5 and Im using my horn as my cam switch lol.

^I love this setup. This is very ideal for me and I think it is a winner. What all did you have to do with the N60 MAF? Just splice and solder? Also, did you try any other cam gear settings? I would do this, but with a 2.5" full exhaust system since that is what I have on the car right now.

P.S. I have all the bold black already.

i wonder if the short gearing in the b15 tranny he has made him go 13.5
