I do have the materials to build the custom 4-1 headers with megaphones out of mild steel for around $1000-1200 WITH individual flanges.

I also make a 4-2-1 header that does make more power from 7000rpm up over the budget header. I am not sure on the price of that header and I am not done with testing it. I just bought another car to put a VE motor in it with all the basic boltons, a calum RT, 3" exhaust, no cat, CAI and then be able to test all the headers back to back and spend more time tweaking the 4-1 headers for more power from 7000-9000rpm. I have been doing all the testing on everyone elses cars for now, but I do need to start doing most of this on my own by myself.

Just remember, this is a Budget header. I do not call this the ASP 4-2-1 SR20 Header because I make a 4-2-1 header and thats what I call it. Its just $1000 MORE than the budget header.

Glad you're still making even better products for our rides. I will definitely be keeping an eye out on your progress, may make some changes in my setup depending on your R&D results since your new toy will be similar to what I have now. Keep up the good work! P.S., your current Budget header kicks a**, thanks again for making this available.

You are saying that you have another 4-2-1 header that makes more power from 7,000 up so why you didnt copy that header to make the budget header?? of offer some additions to the header for the ones that wanted to make more power up there??? Because some people were expecting more power up there..... and you budget($550) header doesnt make more power up there over a ($100) EBAY header... Theres anyway you can advise the customers that already bought you (Budget header) on what can be done to the header to make more power up there other than Buying another ($1000) budget 4-1 header??
If you dont want to make it public at least send some recommendations via PM and I am speaking here for Macakin because he its one of your customers on that BUDGET header and he was kind of disappointed to see that actually the header didnt gave him what he wanted that was some kind of gains over 7,000 RPMS...

If you look back all the claims atleast any that i have read. and snicker's statment's were for making power on a stock de engine not ve. you can't expect a header for a stock de to be perfectly macthed for a tuned ve. i think that is why he offer's the other headers and why he is going to set up a ve car to develop a header just for a mildly built ve. I have a mildly built de that i should be puting a budget header on in a few week then i'll give my input on how it works for a de engine like it was designed for

And I have a roller rocker DE in my G20 that will be getting dynoed and tuned to give another comparison of the budget header. I am only waiting on a Calum Realtime to begin the process, all other parts are in my possesion awaiting installation.

My dyno runs will include:
1.) As it sits now - all stock with the exception of a SSAC that was on it when I bought it.
2.) Adding an OEM wai with a popcharger
3.) Swapping in JWT S3R cams
4.) Swapping the ASP budget header for the SSAC

My plan is to do all of this on one day so it is truely apples to apples

Remember he claimed too to make more power over two different headers on VE's with bolton's... And also claimed to make more power everywhere not just on the mid range remember that... Thats why people jumped on this header... Because to spend $600 to make 5 whp and 5 ft/lbs of torque on the mid range over a $100 its not worth it to me period... I am pretty sure that this header wont make the power he claim either because they made adjustments on the timing after he installed the header and advancing the timing on a Stock DE ECU makes a lot of power...
