How can the ratio of 3rd and 4th gear be the same?

I used the DynoPack Viewer software to view and edit these images for web use, since it is a viewer only it does not load (or at least my copy doesnt) vehicle data (such as ratios or any additional vehicle specific information as thats stored on the DynoPack machine itself).

Any time, I'll post up additional information when I get it.

So far though, I've been really impressed with the product. I'm not sure how many people have it on their cars vs how many miles they've driven but with mine, I've seen 10 track days so far, daily driving and misc abuse, its held up quite well.

Here is further proof of this claim:

Both my NX and SE-R have VEs with N1 cams. The SE-R is still untuned with the cam gears at 0,0 (waiting for my Realtime ECU ) but has the ASP SuperFreak header, a ported head and N1 intake manifold, and a 3" exhaust. The NX has had some tuning, the gears are at +5,-5 and it has the ASP Budget header with a 2.5" exhaust. The rest of the motor is stock. The NX has a fatter upper midrange (5200-6500), but obviously runs out of breath compared to the SE-R beyond that point.

Wow. Its so good to see some people are jumping on this. I almost wish I had sold off my turbo setup and gone with a VE. If only I hadn't thrown my money to that other snake last year for semi-divorced dp.

If you did a turbo gb I'd definitely be down for a shorty or log manifold with /semi divorced downpipe. Even a short-route intercooler/intake setup. My guy can do that but I'd rather pay for something that will come out looking pretty.

jon, joe: thanks for sharing these dyno graphs! definitely a worth while addition for those looking for a spirited daily drive like myself! i look forward to installing mine (when the GB is over of course :P)

theres really too many factors (intake manifold, and headwork) there to determine if its "proof" of the headers being lots better.
But your right, you have a well balanced motor on the intake and exhaust sides which are giving you great results up top

be very interested to see the 2 headers swapped and see what the results were!

Exactly, would be interesting to see the two headers being swapped.

I suppose, but they are ideally suited for the way I use each car.

I am daily driving the NX, so I'm not looking to rev the s*** out of it all the time. 7500 is plenty for what I do with it and it's got a lot of area under the curve.

The SE-R, on the other hand , is being built as a track day/weekend toy. It is driven hard and likes it that way. It will spend most of it's time above 6000 and rev to mid 9k. We'll see what it looks like once we are done tuning.
