Put me down for one of each Snickers. I want a budget base header, as well as one with full merge collectors. I know you said you dont want to make them in 304 stainless but would you be willing to make one for me in stainless? I am willing to pay the difference. Also, I think you should try one of the full merge headers with a megaphone. I think you will be suprised on the power that can still be gained with a 4-2-1 megaphone setup.

For those of you that are probobly wondering how much power the full merge collectors will add and change the power curve... the formed collectors are very poor at directing the exhaust gasses as well as making low pressure areas. Both of these can greatly affect the power of the header in all areas and mainly the top end power band. I believe the full merge collectors can make as much as 4-6whp on the top end alone, and even more on the bottom end below 4000rpm.

Ted, I can do a stainless one but the biggest difference in price is in the collectors. I have one stainless flange left and I have plenty of SS tubing so that will only take the cost up by basically materials. The SS merge collectors alone will raise the cost by at least $300 alone so full retail would probobly be in the $1100 range give or take. I'm sure I can cut that back a bit because someone else wanted a SS one of these as well.

I do plan on trying to make a full merge header this week and possibly re dynoing it vs the base header.

Yes but it won't be this cheap. After the group buy I think he said it's $500 for the normal + 150 for the collector. It might be a few pages back but reread.

This group buy will be done and all headers sent out by or before march. If you want to get in on this group buy, then I need $200 for base + $150 for merge, so $350.

OK I have read every post...I hope to see a dyno full merge vs basic soon!
I have a couple of questions that I did not see an answer for yet.
If you do not get the springs and tabs you will have a single welded primary ,and if you get the slipfit and springs/tabs it is 2 pieces?
The only advantage to this is ease of install, right. It seems like it would be less prone to leaks with one less connection.

Also, any guess on the difference the merge collector might make. Please Charles, convince me to go with the full merge on mysetup:
My car is a daily VE on stock cams for now,but eventually N1s.( I am spending my N1 money with you, lol).I wil be running 3" exhaust.Other mods are Thermoblock spacers ,VE maf,WAI pop,Calum basic.(currently running SSAC 2.5:rolleyes
I am thinking ,going from the ssca and stock cams to N! cams and your header,I should see some good gains!!

Will the full merge help me on the low end, because I understand I will ose some low/midrange when I go to N! cams from stock.

if the cam gears are setup right you should make more power everywhere with n1s. the full merge collectors should provide power everywhere over the formed collectors. the formed collectors create a low pressure zone which affects top end power and the reflective pressure wave which effects scavenging.
