Thanks for sharing your results. Was there any effect on AFR? I was also wondering about timing. It would be nice to know what your tuner tried, but you can take another look at timing when when you test your cam timing. I've seen some N1 bin files with more advance at high RPM than is probably needed -- if your tuner just bumped your timing looking for WHP, he might have had better luck pulling a few degrees.

heres the AFR's on the after run
tuner is pretty competent, but will mention when it goes back in for cam gear tuning eventually

IMO the header that u had b4 was better than the ssac headers that most ppl are using. Thats why u didnt see that much of a gain. But look at the bright side ..u just compared the budget header to another header and it did pretty well. I'll be next on comparing headers....i have a modified Topspeed header. And thanks for posting ur results...

I think the header did very well.

It has the same top end WHP while at the same time giving 16 WHP in the mid range and 20 Lb Ft Of torque to the wheels.

In my opinion that is a great accomplishment. You have both cars and you do a role on in the street the budget header will walk away from the other header.

Both headers at the drag strip will see the budget header walk away also, because it loses nothing up top but and gives you the big torque when you shift to the next gear.

yes I agree, no doubt the car will be faster, but as always more top end is always good

Charles thinks the header and n1's will be best set at +5/-5, so i'll try that next

after that custom plenum will be made, and hopefully these headers will work nicely with that.
