No, I dont bother with NA. I did however buy a EL topmount mani. that costs about double what these cost. I dont understand the issue? This manifold makes more power than the Gen 6 AND Fuji which both make more power than the SSAC since its not optimal. The SSAC is a good buy, but isnt designed good. Its just a cheap, ebay header. The ASP manifold has proper merges, tuned length, proper steps, proper pairing, proper piping size...all the things a REAL header should have. ALL of which the SSAC lacks.

The problem I see is your reluctance to put money out which is understandable in these times for some. You said you want other people to front the money to dyno and tune this header. If you want the results then you could send him money to do the dyno testing you request. Im sure that Charles would be more than happy to help out if you did that.

There are many dynos of this header along with testimonials and videos. What
more could you possibly need???

Bump for all the attention this REAL header is getting

I HAVE taken the plunge, and bought a set of ASPs off a dyno sheet, and what has been said on this very forum; then I ALSO took the plunge and purchased a set of Fuji's on the HOPE that they were going to improve my performance many years ago. Back then there WAS NO PROOF of any improvement other than looking pretty...

If it's proven that these ASPs make a 'slight' difference, any gain is a good one (especially over the Fuji's), then I will chalk it up to experience and do more tuning to make the gains bigger.

I'd never doubt the guy making these headers; there's just too many good things said about him, and that builds my confidence in the product, and the designer / fabricator.

I'm not one for posting dyno sheets as an absolute guide to exact power output; though as a comparison and tuning tool they are great. But once these puppies have landed and are on and tuned I'm sure that the SOTP 'dynometer' will have to suffice till the next dyno day.

Seriously?! Let's not get it twisted here. The SSAC is really a Hotshot header... A HOTSHOT HEADER THAT COST NEARLY THE SAME PRICE AS THIS HEADER. Just because some motherf*cker in china stole the design and started making it for $150 doesn't mean that all headers should cost $150.

If your skeptical that this header is worth the price, enjoy your SSAC.

topdog...If you search,I am sure you will find dynos of a ssac on a stock de....then look in this thread you will see the dyno of over 20 hp gain of the ASP.
Do the math,and s h i t or get off the potty.
I am a cheap bastard,I wont lie...and when I saw the dynos of the prototype and the power it made,I ponied up for one for my VE.
Yeah,my header after the coating and all options was almost as much as the motor....BUT....IT IS ...
B A D A SS...see

Yes I realized that and erased all the posts they were foolish. I decided to purchase the header. I just wish others had a understanding of a member was saying instead of trying to make him look like a moron in order to impress his peers bro.

Yeah because Snickers and ASP couldn't possibly beat an SSAC

They don't usually look that nice, LOL. To make that much of an improvement over factory Porsche is amazing. They do make very good exhausts from the factory. Is that a custom piece or do you make a production Porsche exhaust? It would be something I could push to my Porsche customers if they are a production model. A+ top notch work Snickers, thanks for posting the pics donttazemebro, awesome work.

I was going to post up the GT3 stuff but someone beat me to it! lol.

This is just a prototype setup and I have a few more bits to change and test out THEN do some more tuning. should be around a 40whp bolt on gain with this exhaust and reflash when i'm done. Most Exhaust systems WITH reflash make the same power as my headers/exhaust did.

If you have any 911 gt3 customers (996 or 997) let me know by PM and I'll give you my direct email address. This will turn into a production piece as well once its all worked up and testing is done. Pricing is TBA depending on total materials and time to make.

I'm going to change the collectors and megaphone design slightly and redyno and then again when the tuning software shows up.

The factory stuff isnt actually that good. Its good enough to make the power but they are more worried about emissions and catalytic convertors heating up in 30 seconds. Most available exhaust systems only make 7-10whp over stock and only in some spots, not 15-25whp all over the place
