^Hey that is close enough to balla status for me , "Budget Header" or not haha. I know what you paid because I paid the same amount. I have a BNIB 2.5" SSAC header/flex from like 2 years ago or something that has the gaskets and other hardware. I guess I'll be using that stuff for the future VE setup. I didn't want the V-Band option either, I tried to salvage a little money towards the end of the deal.

with cams at +5/-5 the best setting I have found was 50-5100 IN and 57-5800 EX

You think that would be good for the non-n1 cams to /?

I am pretty sure non n1's would like to be activated lower, but not %100 on that. I don't have cam gears and I am activating both cams at once.

I have them at 5600ish right now, maybe I will try turning them up.

What's the word on these headers? Are they making the power that they say? They look awsome, is that the ceramic coat that makes them look chrome ?

Got mine today! Looks awesome. I'm almost tempted to toss it on my DE for the time being...

In 48 pages Im not sure this has been answered but here goes... I have currently a 20ve with 16ve cams... Im indecisive whether to upgrade headers or the N1 cams first. Could some one guide me which is the best option?

another question is if i get this header with the 16ve cams what increase would one expect? and what kind of increase with the ASP setup with N1 cams?

current setup: 16ve cams, 20ve, ssac, 3" xhaust, calum, findanza 8.5, WAI, 14.8@97mph

i would do the headers first, should give you more power throughout the rev range, whereas the N1's are concentrated more up top.
