The Header Should be marked

Snikers > Gen 6

Snikers > HS

We dont crack, we just make power

No more welding needed

No false claims, just HP fame

stock

only changes was i reset ignition timing to around 20 degrees cause it didnt want to run right...

i had to do several runs because the ECU kept pulling timing and or fuel out for some reason so i had to get it set so it wouldnt do that. then i got 3 runs identical....

May I ask something?
Did you have to reset ignition before baseline or was that necessary after the installation of the header?

as a comparision
Here is an SAE corrected graph from across the country of my car.

The lower power number is '91 intake cam (old school cheap), Exhaust (2.25) PR CAI, Pacesetter header (old school cheap) and advanced timing. The higher power number is the addition to S4 cams

My car dynoed around 126whp/123wtq with stock header and the mods above (excluding s4 cams of course). The numbers shown are very consistant even though they are two different dyno's across the country but both are SAE corrected and both are dynojets.

stock exhaust, bolted up and with stock cat.

This litterally was strapping the car down, doing about 7-8 pulls with the car stock seeing how it responded to ignition timing changes, then swapping the header...

The first pull the header made 20whp gain from 5000rpm, then the next 2 it made 4 whp more and that was it. I checked and it was correcting itself and retarding IGN timing and adding fuel. I unplugged the ECU, did a few more pulls adding timing, and wound up at about 20ish, maybe 22 deg advanced to get this power curve.

I did mess with IGN timing on the stock setup as well, didnt change too much though. I could have shown the 17-19 deg timing curve wtiha nother 4whp but thats not "stock".

i did have to reset a few things after the header install to get it to run correctly.

Wish this was out when I had a job. And wish my company didnt layoff everyone 2 weeks ago. Hopefully my tax return will come nice and plump. Or maybe I can convince my sugar mama to by me one.

Unbelievable.... Good job, Charles. Just curious, did you think the header would make this much power on a completely stock setup?

i knew it was going to make some power, i figured about 20whp fully tuned.. but 24whp bolt on with timing tweaks... um no...

^He used the word DID, as in did he think. The question is valid.
