Thread: installing n1 cams

I was wondering if I install my cams and I use the regular non n1 calum ve tune ONLY on the low lobes will it run ok? I'm trying to make sure it will not run lean during my daily commute and then the following weekend I will go to the dyno and have it tuned. I want to do this so I can break in the cams before I go to the dyno.

you need to start off with calum's sr16ve cams program.

Yep, i used the 16ve cam program with my n1's for almost a year. Ran great on the big lobes.

or do a search for pito bin.

I have the pito bin but I dont want to use it because a few people have dynoed it and where missing 20 horse power and running lean. Can one of you guys send me the sr16 cams bin please?

do a search man you can find it. you can also find it on calum's section.

are you sure it's a FEW people or are you only basing it off of dudeman's experience? every car is indeed different, so keep that in mind.

Why not just upload a bin for N1s when you put them in?
Why wait until the day of the dyno?

Because I would prefer break the cams in. I still need to order a Moates burn1 or burn2.

I think he or someone said that another car was using the same bin and had the same problems. Shocking is'nt it? I will just use the sr16 cam bin.
