So I guess we could state this as Low Compression SR20de and SR20 DET use the same piston rings, where as the Low Port, High Compression (RR) SR20 and SR20ve uses the same piston rings?

Yes, but your just complicating it all.

Mrslappy and Miko have layed it out infront of you in the simplest form.

Not really, it is put simple enough but the rr is still a de. how it is stated it may not appear that way.

You see this is why I just dont gets peoples thinging process.

A RR motor is refered to as a RR motor, Yes a RR motor is a DE.

The question you have to ask yourself is a DE highport or lowport motor refered to as a RR motor.

So we will do this one more time.

1.5mm DE/DET

1.2mm VE/RR
