VE NOS Set-ups?
Just curious how many VE owners run NOS.....Seems like VE owners are either:

Full bolt ons
Fully Built for Turbo
or Fully NA built

NOS gets no love seems like less and less people use NOS these days ? excluding Mr. Miko the man will never leave NOS

If were to build a street car I would do a VE with 11 to 1 Je pistions, light weight rods, N1 cams S&rs, Ect, with atleast an 100 shot but I like turbo to much.

Thinking of spraying my VE ....I got a 75 shot wet nx kit laying around looking for a home.
Problem is it is alot more expensive to blow up a VE .You pop a de ,and get a jdm replacement for cheap...VE is 3x that.

I want to spray a bit, but I've heard some people talk of compression being too high for nos.

can someone explain this please?

I've read something in the past about something with the stock VE piston rings lands being too weak for more than 250whp, thats why I choose to stay away from N20.

Theres a guy on here making close to 500 on the Roller Rocker stock rods and pistons. Its all in the tuning.

would love to try, but NOS will likely blow my gearbox in short order.

VE pistion has a skinny upper ring land so I wouldn't spray more then 75 wet on a stock VE pistion.
