Thread: transmission question

i have a 1998 200sx, im thinking of converting it from auto to standard, is the harness from ecu to engine the same or different???????

You will have to use a manual 200sx ecu and rewire/reroute a few pins in order to not get a CEL light. There is a crank angle sensor on the transmission that will throw the CEL(if you find another 98-99 b14 tranny). Other than that, there isn't any other modification needed.
