well yeah, but you have to balance it when done. You need a mill and usually a rotary table to do this correctly, its time consuming but usually cheaper to just buy a new flywheel

IVE HAD A LIGHTEN FLYWHEEL.. best way to lose weight and get higher revs.

I think I paid like $38+shipping for mine. I bought it like 4 months ago.

ON an N/A SR20. The 8.8 Flywheel is the way to go. It will affect your AC. though. You have to shift a little quicker to keep the car going smoothly. With the AC on your rev drop fast.

Overall though the best mod I did to my car when I was NA though was an 8lb flywheel.

Remember to count the number of bolts on the friction plate.

You will have 16 on the new ones and 20 on the old ones.

well its installed. question is how much time should i give this to run in.... no negative effects to date. just a little tricky to move off and by tricky its so slight its shouldnt even be mentioned but i justr decided to anyway..... no ac issues with was ma biggest fear.... car drive fine just the same....have rev it as yet. weighed the one i took of and it was 19.xx lbs and with a metal center that is seperate from the flywheel but was on it still the weight stopped at 20lbs.
