What cam do you use with a 2.5? and what header? It sounds like a good idea but $$$$$$$ if you want power without reving why not build it for turbo?

I highly doubt a 100mm crank would fit with out some serious clearancing of the block, i'm sure I remember that some of the 92mm cranks needed a wee bit of a clean on block for clearance

brian crower is an idiot. complete disgrace to the Crower family name.

just find a crank that you want it to be like and he'll replicate it for you. he's super good at that.

you aren't going to make kpower out of a VE

A VE is designed to be a short stroke motor, you arent going to change that no matter how large of a crank you try to put in it.

well either way i was just wondering, thats why i had asked. A 92/92 sounds pretty good especially since the parts are there except 92mm pistons but again those could easily be made. I know if your using a girdle the thing has to be either removed or shaved quite a bit to work. But in a ve motor with no girdle i would think it could be done. But either way. a close to 2.5L sounds pretty good and reving out to 9.5-10k as long as there is a proper cam made by then or get one made it should still make pretty close to 300whp. That in a sentra should be good for at least an 11 second car, probably low again in a fully gutted drag sentra.

hell yeah a 92x92 high compression ve on e85 or race gass will make some serious power imo. People have yet to explore the ve yet like the k series, and props go to you for thinking outside the box!

problem with all big build ve's is the cam choice. lets get some cams made for a 2.2 setup before we start talking about going bigger...just my opinion

I am with him. We need some blanks and someone who knows what they are doing to make some cams and test them out. I know of one person that is talk about doing it but I have to keep my mouth shut.
