I got to be honest and say I don't understand why a lot of you guys would spend hundreds of dollars on a custom tune JWT ecu, that's basically an off the shelf tune for XYZ modifications. Every motor is different and an off the shelf tune is never gonna give you the best results. Then there's all these additional gadgets to let you tune fuel (s-afc) and then msd switches to activate vvl etc.

Why not go standalone or piggyback? There are soooo many options out there, and with the exchange rate you can import some of the best systems for less than your JWT reprogramme would cost.

In addition you will now have full control over ignition maps, fuel maps, you switch between dual maps on the fly with the flip of a switch, you can activate your vvl, low boost, high boost, nos, fuel pump prime, activate radiator fans, launch control for the track, shift lights etc etc, all in one package.

Where did the JWT ECU thing come from? This was about diffrent RPM activated switches.

I bet also 95% of the guys with VE are running $110 Calum ECUs or $350 Calum Realtimes.

im using summit, works just fine for me. Summit 830452 Price $49.99, its meant to be hidden though, in a lil box unlike the greddy MSS thats meant to be seen wth display. just the same purpose to activate something in RPM range. setup with a relay for safety, and only one switch input - greddy mss can switch 2 solenoid in different stage - you knw wat im saying.
