I am going to dyno my car the way it is right now
I am going to measure the shim clearance cold because the kelford spec sheet has clearances set differently than I do
We (charles and I) are going to degree in the new cams
We are going to set them properly
We are going to dyno tune
I will post results

As you can see this is a tedious process so you will have to give it some time

That's the way to do it. Post up the spec. sheet. Please. & what are your other mods?

Ok..... whats so Uh-Oh!!! about this?

I hope yall make more HP than N1s but I have seen 2 of these cams on the dyno over here and still nothing special This was on 2L motors.

I got the 2.3L ready to go, so I am hoping for something to work on a bigger motor.

Get Charles to talk to Kelford about 20V bottoms and something else on the top.

we already talked to kelford

considering kelford's website states that these cams aren't made for a 2.0L motor it's not surprising you didn't make more than N1's

sorry it doesn't impress you miko, did the 2 cars you see run these cams degree them? what advance/retard did they run? What did the spec sheet say and what clearances were they running?

My old kelfords were down 30whp run at 0,0 than when we ran them a +4, -4. My guess is again user error not cam error. But what do I know, im the only person actually posting progressive reports. Of course without charles I wouldn't be able to do any of this so I just built the motor and tune it while charles tweaks and finesses (and helps out with dyno time)

why don't you get your motor running and impress us ?

Why are you being silly.

I never ran those cams. I said I have seen 2 cars that had these cams and they did not make any more power than N1s. These guys tried alot of diffrent cam timing settings also.

I am hoping for beter cams than N1s but I dont see it coming just yet.

My motor has nothing to do with impressing anyone but myself.

I feel untill we can agree that 20V bottoms making the most low end HP and then everyone putting their thoughts on some top lobes we will not get anywhere.

You know what is funny about Kelford not saying these cams were not made for 2L but what I want to know what 2.2-2.3L VEs were they testing them on. Beside a few guys on this forum I have not seen any 2.2 and 2.3L VE motors being tested with these cams so its funny that they would say the cams were made for larger motors.

Well I have seen 2 guys with these cams and they spent alot of hours on the dyno tuning and did not get anything special. Those are the facts and they did do a good job.

you brought your motor up in my thread so it seems like you want to talk about it.

Again, what did they set the cams at?
What were their numbers?
What numbers did they degree the cams at?
What was their baseline and where did they end up?
What ecu were they using?
(i hate ending sentences with 'at')

If you want to bring 2 people up in this discussion bring up all the facts, if you don't know them don't use them as examples to prove your point.
