THAT BLACK KNOB IS TO adjust your idle. but i dont know how you know is back to stock setting.

ok...thanks. i was asking cuz i turned it a few times to adjust the idle ..lol i just happened to see it one night and turned it to see what it does. But after i did it i was like i hope i didnt mess up anything a/f wise.

a "hunting idle" when fully warmed up (like at a stoplight) will be 1 clue.

Am now running a P28 ecu in the car. Got a basic tune on it and the car rips. Going to dial in a few more things before I go to a bigger exhaust and throw the N1 cams in.
Hopefully when it starts warming up and we aren't getting these lame ass snow storms from the middle of nowhere I can get some videos/pics of everything.

Did you check the bearings on the motor? SInce you said you want to track it. Good idea to see what the bearings look like. THe 4cw is rougher on the bearings than the 8cw from what i've read.

I like it. I also have a black b13 on K1's. NOt near as pretty as yours though. Good work.

Got the BC Springs/Retainers and N1 cams installed finally :biggthumpup:

Stock everything here, clean as can be. Timing chain still has the yellow on the timing links.


First cam removed.


All cams out.


The workings of the NEO VVL.


New springs/retainers installed using about 80-90PSI of compressed air to ensure the valves wouldn't drop while removing the stock retainers and installing the new ones.


Mark made the keeper remover tool out of a middy 14MM socket and extension and a magnet inside of the socket. Worked awesome :biggthumpup:

I plan on getting my Defi gauges installed on the dash so hopefully I'll have pictures of those soon.

i like the rims alot,they look pretty nice on the car too.
when are you going to dyno?
