low quanity of oil
so i changed my oil the other day, and the motor only took 2.5 quarts of oil. I waited 15-20 minutes after the change and checked the car again on a flat even surface. the dip stick was full. Basically the oil line went all the way to where "H" is. Said whatever because i had to make my way back to school. After getting back to my apartment and returning from school the next day i checked it again. basically the oil line was at 3/4 the way between low and high.

oh side note, the old oil a removed was just at 2 quarts but the dipstick said low.

Normal? how much oil does your motor take? the fsm says 3 5/8’s qt. thats like a full quart of oil i'm not using. its like a have something hiding in my oil pan or something lol, but the motor has been running prefect right now.

If u still have the PCV hooked up unhook it or get a new one. Mine went bad and was sucking oil into the motor @ high rpms.

good idea, but i don't think that is a reason why my motor only holds 2.5 quarts of oil

I have found that about a 1/4 of a quart will stay in the pan by the bafffles inside.Try jacking your car up on the driver side after it stops draining, you will see what I mean.
I remember reading a thread somewhere about it,a few years ago.
I will pour an extra quart through during my oil changes every now and then to flush ou trapped oil.
