my buddies n1's set at +5,-5 switching at 4600 on the dyno worked very well, this was with ported n1 intake manifold and n1 throttle body, ssac header with one pretty dented secondary.
Dyno graph showed a very slight dip in power. We determined by doing a pull without the cams switching that the best switch point to where it would be nice and smooth would have been about 5100.
Again it really depends on setup. Either way at 4600 the cam switch with catless full 3" exhaust was loud and sounded awesome.
The power dip was just slight, maybe 3-4whp dip at that part of the map. It was more before tuning. You can tune most of the dip out if you know what your doing and add the proper timing and fuel. Makes the transistion much smoother.
