No that was stock motor w custom header and n1 switch at 6.2 reving to 8.5ish

Then w the custom intake manifold I could switch smooth at 6 rev to 9. Then the pistons changed nothing. Just gained like 5whp lol

mine is not noisy, even what I have with the original exhaust lol

It most depends on cams and header. Stock cams and sr16ve cams with SSAC header like 4400-4800rpm at most. Its all individual and best bet is dyno and try settings...

Had mine both at 4800 and I'd like to try switching them seperately.

Just went and tried switching at 4500 and did not like it at all.

Tried at 5200 like I had it before and I like it best.

stock VE.

my buddies n1's set at +5,-5 switching at 4600 on the dyno worked very well, this was with ported n1 intake manifold and n1 throttle body, ssac header with one pretty dented secondary.

Dyno graph showed a very slight dip in power. We determined by doing a pull without the cams switching that the best switch point to where it would be nice and smooth would have been about 5100.

Again it really depends on setup. Either way at 4600 the cam switch with catless full 3" exhaust was loud and sounded awesome.

The power dip was just slight, maybe 3-4whp dip at that part of the map. It was more before tuning. You can tune most of the dip out if you know what your doing and add the proper timing and fuel. Makes the transistion much smoother.

Previously I had my stock SR20VE cams 4700 IN & 4900 EXH and according to several datalogs the MAF reading didn't show any dip or bump, it was pretty smooth actually

Now I'm on N1 cams but haven't mess with them yet, I know they won't be as easy to set as stockers, right now they're both at 5200RPM and feels kinda weird

Spill the beans. What should you look for? 13AFR in that fraction where cams are switching? Normally it goes lean there. And timing?
