And as far as the cams go im not going to degree them during the first trial runs. From what ive researched the build should do fairly well set at 0,0. After the dyno tuning we might play around with it to see if there is any more to be had out of it then go from there.

The head and block have both been resurfaced so your 0/0 setting may not be straight up. It may take some adjustment to get the centerlines back to factory settings.

understood but we're gonna give it a shot stright up and go from there. There was very very little taken off the block plus not to mention the mazworx headgasket is i believe almost double the stock thickness of the stock headgasket. So that in turn will probably more than make up for the resurfaced block. But see this is where tuning comes into play. From what ive seen built motors will make more torque down low so there isnt the need to move the powerband down but instead keep it up top to rev out making a nice wide powerband. But again we will play around with stuff down the road.

well here is a small update, the hydraulic clutch conversion is finished. It was a pain in the butt but overall not too bad. it was alot of trial and error kinda thing. The tabs on the b15 clutch pedal have to be cut off that go against the firewall as there firewall on the b14 already has these tabs. the two holes for the clutch cylinder in the pedal assembly have to be ovaled out or opened up to allow the pedal to rotate clockwise as much as you can get it without running out of space on the pedal. The pedal itself had to be bent to the left to somewhat allow the pedal to be close to the stock location. We could have gone a little more but all in all it looked pretty close and felt good on the foot. So here is an update with some pics of the freshly painted bay and the conversion. Not too detailed though. haha

here is some pics of the freshly painted b14 wheels going on the car with some meaty tires.

Enjoy, the finishing touches to the motor should be done this weekend and possibly in the car. We will see.
