Not trying to jack your thread but I have a JWT VE ECU (SR20VE, 333cc INJ & VE MAF No rev cut) that I might sell if your interested PM me .....

ran my stock VE for at least a year with de maf/de ecu/ve inj. think i even did N1's this way (don't recall for sure). i CAN tell you it ran not only fine, but very well. better than with a jwt ecu/ve maf combo!
advance your base timing to ~22*-23*. use a wideband o2 to check your afr's. you may/may not need to adjust them with an afpr/safc2 for fine tuning.
the worst part was my lame 7200rpm limiter(B14). i then (upgraded) to a g20 ecu and finally a Calum RT.
the rest of my setup was:
hotshot cai w/jwt pop
fuji header
3" vrs catback
nismo afpr
de throttle body/tps
jun u/l flywheel..., and so on

Run the De ecu for 1 month then get the realtime up that motor.

De tunes arn't that rich. Try to control yourself and not do any power runs until it's tuned.

what was your afr at idle and WOT?
