Figures On Kw To Hp Convertions From NZ To USA
I want to take a look at Evlnxrs car. The one in particular is the P12 Primera waggon which is stock
He made 125 KW to the wheels which equates out to about 170 WHP. Now considering that a 204 BHP car equals about 201 HP is it fare to say that a car making 201 Hp will make 170 WHP. If so please consider the numbers below. These are all FWD cars so the % of drivetrane loss should be close.
I have a few cars in mind that make 200 Crank HP and when put on the dynos in Miami, they make about the same Hp converted to the wheels bone stock.
1. Honda-Acura Type R makes 195 Hp = 167 WHP on our Dyno.
2. Acura RSX Type S makes 200 HP = 171 WHP on our Dyno.
3. 2007 Civic makes 200 HP = 172 WHP on our dyno.
4. 2008 Sentra Spec V 200 HP = 171 WHP on our Dyno
5. Primera P12 makes 201 HP = 125Kw To the wheels or 170 WHP with cats removed or 123.5 Kw to the wheels which = 167.5 WHP unmolested stated by Evlnxr.
These figures from 1-4 can be verified on the net and with dyno sheets that I can also get, from Dyno days I have been at.
Evlnxrs Primera P12 makes a proven 170 KW to the wheels which equates out to 201 Crank HP from the factory. If so can we agree that we have some form of equilibrium. Can we say that this is a fare convertion.
In my opinion I say yes, if we can agree on this then we have a starting point to look at.
