Those stage 4's will never work.

I remeber a so called A hole that was saying things like this and got kicked all over the other forum for it.

Kelford is it for me.

Now I have never seen a Kelford cam but after seeing the other stuff from the other company I knew right of the back that their cams were not for my motor. Their cam specs made no sence and the quality control was bad as lobes were not all the same as they were off from lobe to lobe.

9700 rpm is awesome! Going by the specs digitek gave (255 deg @ .050") i would say those would be the older/larger design. the "new Design" as listed on the website is

Inlet
244 @ 0.050" and 12.75mm Lift

Exhaust
246 @ 0.050" and 12.00 Lift

Still no small cam.
The duration is very similar to n1's actually, it would be nice if they were slightly bigger. I must get in and talk to kevin about how else they differ from N1's and what he expects in terms of power delivery. I would say they would have much tighter CL's than N1's.

Here is some eye candy of comparisons between fcams and kelford....and springs oem /fc/kf

http://www.e2sr20.com/cams/

Kelford springs use stock inside spring...

but they are way stiffer and better than the f-cam design.

and hold more rpm...(self tested to 10k )

Not worth the xtra 1mm. It is about $3800. I have a one time deal on one for $2500. I will be getting it from a race team. New in the box. I figure it is $600 more than I paid for my Tomei so I can live with that.

I have not been able to get any goiod deals on Tomei cranks like I used to.

I know on ebay there is a company selling Tomei 2.2L storcker kits for $3300. Cran, rods and pistons, I would like to just get another crank for another project I am trying to do. So the rods an pistons are not for me as I will be doing 90mm again on that, it is for a customer.

You will not be dissapointed with kelford, you may even be best off ringing and talking to kevin and explaining your motor setup and what you want from it and getting custom cams made for you.
Keep us updated anyway, you too kesi.

I'm not sure if they have it on their website but kelfords have an all motor eg civic with a h23a in it. The cam specs in that is ridulous (perks of owning your own cam manufacturing and engine building shop) they are running about 15mm of lift! unsure on duration but its probably safe to say massive. It has only run once i think with that motor and i think it ran around 10.5, definitely sub 11 anyway. I haven't been following it for a while but i'm interested to see if it can get into the 9's. I have a magazine article on it somewhere its a pretty serious little weapon.

2 week turn-around from first talking to kevin, him coming up with the specs (which are a little bit ) kelford machining them and then them arriving at my door.
