I wish a shop in japan would swap a VET into a S13.....maybe a aftermarket company might notice the potental of the motor and start making parts for them like tomei or hks or anyone! A MINE's VE powerd P10 would be sick!

Kesi if you tell me your specs on the motor I can make sugestion as far as cam combos. Also tell how high you want to make peak hp.

If the guys at Kelford can cut some grinds I have cams like N1s and 20Vs as references to send to them if you might have an idea of what you want.

Iwill be sending these cams to them for my street build

Well I spoke to the porter and he said he need to know what cam spec's before he does the head.He dont want to take to much material off because it hurt performance if the cam is too small. The place is called head games motorsports.I learned so much about bigger is not better always with them.

tomie crank 90mm bore because thats only gasket option i have I would go 92mm but there is no gasket so I stay 90mm,rods 15.1 compression c.p pistons supertech valves, springs retainers, custom header ect ect but like i said cams is the problem.I want to make peak power at 8500 rpm's

Dam Kesi is back. N1s will not cut it for a Na motor of your size or Mikos. The lift is to small and the duration is not there eiher. I would be interested in some bullet cams with a little more lift and a little more duration if I go 42r.

Kesi how big are you going with your valves? +2 EX and IN would be my guess.

Have any of you guys delt with Kelford directly. I want to deal with these guys.

I know you guys might have has some dealings with Franklin but I was not happy with their quality and the way they designed the cams.

I hope no one attacks me for these statements. Its justmy opinion

I know JWT has cam blanks but I know longer can depend on them. I get no more special treatment from them for atleast 2-3 years now

I asked 3 times this year for 3 sets of cam blanks and I was told flat out no.

I have a few friends at crane cams in FL and they were willing to work with me at whatever cams I needed. The problem is getting the blanks.

If anyone can get their hands on these VE cam blanks let me know as this would be a great step forward in VE development.

I am guessing you are going with a 92mm crank & 90mm bore. Sounds like a large 2.3L you got thurr

Right now, your best bet is the N1 cams.

Valves will be 1mm intake that's it,like I said Im taking advice from pro's he said I can't go too big or ill loose power. He acutally said I can run stock valve size and make power its a common misconception that you have to go oversize.

I am running stock valves intake and exhaust. But I did a few things I have learned from some Nissan development papers I was reading. Which they gained big power by increasing the throat and keeping the valves stock.

Keeping stock valves will actually make them flow great as the valves will be deshrowded from the cylinder walls since we have gone from 86-90mm. If you go to large with the valves you can actually bring the flow down as as the walls will hurt the aior flow.

This was the concept that Nissan did with the N! head where they went with bigger cams but used smaller valves to increas flow. They found that the same size valves as the standard SR16 actually lost HP in the 86 mm bore motor.

JWT is not making cam's .i know they have blanks but they dont want to give them up.Kelfords make the a great cams,The best aftermarket cams if you ask me but they wont work well with bolt on sr20ve .They will build to engibe spec so i might give them a try
