SR20VE questions....just bought one
Does the color of the Solenoids make any Difference when it comes to motors? Like does that tell yu which is newer then the other or anything? Ive got a choice between one that has two black solenoids and one that has a black and a green one. Also is there anything I should look out for as far as needing it with the motor or not?

^^I put a Deposit down on this one today But theres another one I have a choice between along with this one. The other one looks as if it has an Oil leak though (front main seal) and the block was all dirty and ****. This block was clean.

production year can be found on the coolant elbow, not the one with the thermostat the other one there is a two digit number there. From what I've read before the first years 95-96 are peppier, but they have the same specs.

I cant remember it for ****. But that is the exact reason I took the pictures. Is that a big ass ****ing dent in the upper oil pan??

Im also going to see if I can swap valve covers with the other one there since that one has a loose hose nipple or is that an easy fix with just banging it back in there?

Pop off the valve cover and take a look inside, Look at the throttle body are both screws there.

in the last pic ...is there enough pigtail left on the vvl plugs to solder extension wires on to? you might take the plugs with the longest wires

Just went to go look at the motor again. They had cleaned it up this time. They only clean them after they are bought so you can see what you are buying strait up. This one looked clean before they cleaned it! Now it looks realllllly good! Also I took a look at the dent and it is just an OEM Indention.

Teal97-are those solenoid plugs hard to find or something? Looks like mine are long enough to solder on though.
