The USDM '98 maxima is also a direct fit.

I have a 97 200SX SE-R, and I am currently doing a VE swap. The motor came with the TPS broken, so I tried to swap my lowport TPS, butthe arm is too long, ant wider than the VE.

Im thinking about just using the DE TB. What do yall think?

If you read the quote below is say 98-99 SER, Sentra SE and SEL TPS.

There is no 95-97 SER listed as fitting.

Yout TB will work but you will have no fast idle because it is part of the TB on the VE.

I read on the other forum and found

"DE TPS connector will plug into the top connector of the VE TPS."

Will that work?

So I'm guessing that's not the answer.

So is there any way to use the VE TB with my 97 harness?
If I use the DE TB, will I have any major issues??

Alex_se_r.... Seriously thing about your last few questions and then read the heading of this thread.

Heading of this thread is

Your VVL Has A Broken TPS, And You Want To Know What TPS Interchanges.

Now, if your VVL had a broken TPS and you were going to put on the same TPS then it is apparent that the VVL TPS works.

Then you posted in this thread you tried to put your 97 SER TPS on the VE TB and it did not work and you are confused. Now it surely shows in the first post in this thread a 97 TPS does not fit because it is not on the list. It even gives you a listing of what TPS will fit from what cars. List below for the first post.

You then put that you found a thread that stated that the DE TPS connector plugs into the top pug of the VVL TPS. Your quote below.

Think about it all for a second? Why would we get the same TPS to replace the VVL TPS if it did not work on the DE harness.
