Thor I will go with a bad MAF or a MAF that got wet and shorted out.

My Maxima MAF just went bad. I had an issue that was similar to yours. My problem was intermittent. This was a problem that lasted for over 3 weeks until it got to bad to drive as the problem became more frequent until I could diagnose it.

One of my friends ERIC had the same problem with his SER when it rained. It was funny as it only came about when it rained. Anyway he opened his up and he said one of the wires from the MAF plug to the board came loose. So he saudered them back and it worked fine.

I opened up mine and took a look at it and it looked as I has the same problem. I saudered mine back together and will test it to see if the problem was fixed. As of right now I have a replacement MAF in there and all is fine.

Bucking problem resolved think it was bad gas. Also had another issue of bucking when it rained or was cold. Found out it was from a defective thermostat, changed and all is well.
