Drop in an h22 and you will be plenty satisfied. ALot easier and you wont sound like such a fanboy plus...how are we going to tell you if it will fit...yes it will fit for a alot of money and time. I have seen pics of an sr20det in a ek civic hatchback..

whats wrong with VTEC?, its almost exactly the same in operation as VVL except both cams switch at the same time.

yes it will fit.....just with a bit of custom work, all new engine mounts etc not to mention the engine sits the other way round and then theres the issues of getting axles that will fit the integra hubs

but yea if ya want to do it go for it, although there seems little point removing an engine that is already very good (assuming a B18C).

dude, just put an h22 motor in it.. It will save you time, money, and hassle. And it will be faster than a sr20ve swap.

If your gonna go threw the trouble might as well put it in a crx or EG only reason id put THAT motor in a honda would be for lite weight power to weight ration integra gutted dont weigh much but fuk that.

EF,EG,EK an with n1 cams an a tune youll be the equivilant of a lotus elise.. brakes will be a factor though no matter what.

they've swapped sr20's in civics(I know I sound like F&F but this is a true statement), so I dont see this being an issue. Its just how much customizing do you have to do to make it work?????? U can do anything you want to do, so just do it!

Waste of time.

Get a H23 Blue valve VTEC for about $1500. Those bad boys have 225 HP. You can get the rest of the parts like tranny and axles from a H22 Prelude or Honda Accord. You have to get custom mounts.

Thats a 200 WHP motor before bolt ons and with headers, intake, exhaust cams thats 230 WHP with 180 LB ft Torque to the wheels. Thats a bad boy right there.
