I haven't had time to work on these projects lately...soon though. Most of my "free" time for the last 4 weeks has been consumed by a b14. I picked up relatively clean stock '98 200sx off Craigslist that needed/needs a little TLC to get it back on the road.
It has 200k mi, all bushings shot, and the clutch arm was busted. I'll make another thread, but this thing is turning into a bit of a restoration lol!
Fresh off the flat bed
Found out the drivers side axle was seized in the hub...the bfh and torch wouldn't budge it. Found a new puller that made it easy
Dropped the trans to remove the broken clutch arm
Cleaned it up, bent it back into place, and welded it back together
Decided to reinforce it
All buttoned up and ready to go back in. I threw in an Exedy OEM clutch in as well along with a new clutch cable.
Now that it's driveable, I've learned that the motor mounts, ball joints, tie rod ends, and control arm bushings are shot too! They're replacements will be here this week.
The fun continues!
