I thought of that....only thing holding me back is the video editing side of it. Anyone know of decent video editing software that has a quick learning curve lol. I built a decent CAD rig a couple of years ago that should have enough cojones to edit video.

No such thing. Like CAD software, Photoshop, and others... Video editing software really needs to be learned properly.
However, I suggest you look into Sony Vegas Video. It is on par with Adobe Premire and Apple Final Cut Pro but doesn't suffer from Adobe's or Apple's kitschy design imperitive.

Gotcha, going to have to learn by doing then. Thanks for the suggestions....I can see this path leading to the want of a new camera lol

Sounds good...I'll try and grab some footage when I start a new build or during one of em that's in progress. Hmmm....might even build a camera mount for some footage during welding.

Update...I started shooting video of the control arm fabrication process from start to finish. I'm hoping to have all the vid clips captured by this weekend and I'll take a shot at editing next week. I threw a rig together with a gopro hero HD 2, azden smx-10 powered external mic, and a dolica tripod...seems to be working well

I do believe he made them. I picked a set up not too long ago, quality work. Just had them powdercoated awaiting some suspension goodies and everything suspension wise will be gong on the car brand new! Dave

I have made them two ways. Manually machined from solid chromoly hex stock on the lathe in house and out sourced via laser cut from chromoly plate. All current builds are using parts made using the laser cut method.
