Tuning issues, advice needed...
So heres my question, I'm wondering which ECU are those of you with upgraded turbos and injectors running? (DE or DET) I'm running a DE ECU with a GT2871R and MSD 72lb injectors. I'm getting a studdering issue when the engine is under a load. Seems like fuel or spark cut to me but I don't know for sure. I'm using a pretty advanced piggyback unit to tune with. The problem was presint when I was running small injectors and a T25 (just not as bad) but I was was able to tune around it. But now with all the increased air and fuel I cant seem to tune it out. I'm thinking its some sort of ignition cut out in the DE ECU due to the increases in the air fuel mix. I'm hoping the DET ECU will have a greater tolerance but I don't have any experience tuning on a DET ECU. Any input will be appreciated. For now i'm going to stick with my current tuning apparatus until I explore all other options. I just need some info from people who have tuned on both ECU's. Thanks!

With injectors that big, no piggyback is gonna help you, Im impressed your car even runs and has idle. My emanage worked fine with DE ECU and 370cc, then ran descently with 555cc, super rich at idle and unstable AFRs during partial throttle, but 72lbs is just way too much for the stock maps on the DE ECU, get a used JWT at least.

Yeah, I thought about that but the AFR's are good. The unit I am using has the ability to shorten the injector pulse where need be. According to the dyno chart the Air Fuel is perfect up to the ignition/fuel cut that causes the studder. It almost feels/sounds like a rev limit under full load.
