Any suggestions? SR20VE N1 timing map
Hi guys,

i am still trying to figure out my SR20VE engine management. It is a stock VE with N1 cams at +0/0, custom 4-2-1 headers and a 60mm exhaust with a sports cat. We have got the Air/fuel ratio guite good, but it seems to me the timing map is off quite much although our local Nistune guy said it looks quite OK. Here are the maps so you can see it.

Right now i am switching the cams at 5000 intake and 6500 exhaust. Should i use these values or is it better to switch at some other RPM?
Shouldnt the timing map have some peaks where the cam is switching?

Tahnks in advance for the answer

I found on my setup with n1 cams 4900 is where it liked both cams activated.

As for the timing map, yeah it looks like he pulled a shit load of timing for some reason.. try copying a stock de timing map an start with that, that's what I do..

I'd mostly focus on changing those 20's in the top right corner to something like what u see in my map.. but keep in mind you won't really know what's happening till you Goto a dyno an tune it

Hi again, i have tried some stuff but came to the conclusion that i need a pro because i still dont get how you make certain things.

With your table, i suggest that with wot you came to the column with load of 70.
In my case i came to 60 so just tried to copy the values and tried it out. It made some difference but its still not what i need. Havent run dyno yet but i suggest it still isnt over 200 hp

btw i still have issues when running at low load where the engine bogs and stutters. Tried different stuff with no success.
Ill post the results when i know more.
