Thread: ecu help

Yeah the guy that worked on my car, said he cleaned it had the same problem, then replaced it, but im not sure if he replaced it with a used or brand new. I think used, keep getting p0505. Just checked gpec for a iacv, gotta wait 2+ months for it.

Nissan idle is always a little tricky. The IACV does get dirty fairly easy but it is not very common that they need replacing.

The parameters in the tune very well could be wrong.

I have another 96 200sx SE-R ECU laying around if you are interested in purchasing it. Once the daughter board is installed it will perform just as well as the g20 ecu of the same year.

If you are having issues finding a local place to have the soldering done let me know. I am not local but I can handle it for you.
