There are lots of pro's. Just to name a few. It is easy to work with, easy to install, everything is documented in detail, has features that cover almost everyones needs and customer support is great. The list goes on and on.
The only two cons I can think of are if you want COP, or if you need more inputs or outputs then the NEMU can provide.

well...if you got the money...haltech elite 1500, ViPEC v44, Link G4+ all are better then a chipped stock ecu
but in terms of bang for buck...nismotronic is pretty darn good

I wouldn't call it a chipped stock ecu as much as I would call it a stock ecu with a daughterboard in it that provides far more flexibility and tuning than a typical chipped stock ecu..
