Thread: U12 ECU Tunes

I have searched most of the forums but am a bit confused by the tuning bin I ended up using on my SE-R.

First, I have a b13 SE-R with a U12 SR20DET. The engine seems to be stock except for the FMIC, BOV, and CAI. The car has been running the stock B13 SE-R ecu and seems to run well, a bit rich, but well enough.

I recently installed an MTX-L Wideband and a used NX2000 ecu with a calum basic daughter board. I loaded the stock U12 rom (U12_SR20DET_79E01_MT) from the nistune rom pack on to the calum basic ecu and my car started running super lean (17 to 20). I didnt run it this way, just idle and rev.

So then I ran a stock SR20DE tune for a b13 and it ran the same as with the b13 SE-R ecu. So next I ran the U12_SR20DET_5E200_MT bin and the car is running much better. AFRs around 10.5 to 12.

So what is confusing me is the fact that the U12_SR20DET_5E200_MT tune is running the same injector k value (31206) as the b13 SE-R tune. The fuel maps are also very similar. But, the u12 engine I have has 370cc injectors (purple/grey).... Shouldnt the k value on the tune be different than the SR20DE tune????
