going from aem ems v.1 to NismotronicsSA need Some Imput & does the RWD ecu fit FWd
i have for the longest time been running aem ems v.1 and about 10 years and just recently it took a turn for the worst. i took it to my local tune shop and they did a diagnostic on it and found that so they offered up nismotronics, given the facts that i have been having alot of stuff in my life going on i have not have anything about this at all. i have just started reading about it.

my car is set up for speed density so map sensor, also my car is set up for IAT so GM sensor so its set up alot like aem ems well pretty much just like aem ems so, the nismotronics should be plug and plug correct?

online its not showing any s13 chips.

what i want to know is, can i run a rwd ecu in my fwd car so i can later down the road run coil on plug? am i going to need a harness?

if i cannot go to the 240sx, and have to stick to the b13 ecu should i upgrade the chip?

The short answer is no, you cannot run the RWD ecu with distributor ignition, the long and answer is if you are clever you can. If you need to run off the distributor for the time being, use the FWD ecu. Save the RWD ecu for when you are ready. Swapping everything over is not complicated, but I would wager @JKTUNING can swap everything when the time comes. John will give you a base tune that will match your setup. You would likely have to switch over to a FWD trigger wheel as well. Or just swap in a FWD distributor.

To clarify,
FWD ECU: Distributor only
RWD ECU: COP only

Actually I thought the way that John made the NEMU software, if you used a RWD SR20 ECU that you could set it up for use with a dizzy.. (pretty much same way you do the AEM)

News to me. If correct, this is pretty sweet.

The NEMU board can be swapped between ECUs, you could run the FWD ECU for now and just swap over the board when you convert to COP if you can not use the RWD ECU on a dizzy.

You just need to use an SR20DET (COP) CAS disk in the distributor.
