Thread: Safc basic tunning help needed....

Ok I have a question....... I just installed a safc2 on my completely stock de and stock ecu (b13) and now my engine light comes on and off constantly but goes off sometimes while i'm driving. I have no idea how to tune it so any and all help would be appreciated. The trouble code is saying there's a prob with the maf.

Did you clip it into the correct wires? It should not give you a MAF code if you hooked it up right. Double check. Also, make sure the SAFC is setup properly. I think that the Maf is hotwire 6. I thought that's what it was on mine but I forget.

You should also read the manual before trying to tune it.

Ok thanks. I fixed the engine light, one of the maf wires were a little loose and as fpr tuning it, I guess I'll have to wait til I get a wide band. Thanks for the help. At least I know there are still some genuine sr20 peeps still around
