There were some questions about reproducing my controller, here and other forums. Getting rid of the pics was the easiest way to make it hard for anyone to copy it. I'm a few grand into this project and over a years worth of work, I would hate to see it all wasted on some copycat.

so where you at with this now? have you communicated with MAtt from nistune at all? he may be willing to have this tested on / with a nistune ecu

I'm working out the design issues now. The controller functions as it should, the main issue I have been fighting with is the PCB design. A lot of care has been taken to ensure that current return paths, ground loops and interference is managed correctly. Once I have the load testing completed, which should be this weekend, I'll be able to install it in one of my cars. Drive that around for a bit then take it to a tuner for a OEM vs COP comparison. Not to prove it makes more power, but to show there is no net loss. Looking at probably early 2016 before I release a few controllers to other members for testing.

Nismotronic is the current testing platform though. Once the controller is completed and functionality with the NismotronicSA is validated, we will look into verifying other ECUs to work with the DIS-SR.

Have you tested a honda k20 coil?

Not yet. John is going to be running the K20 coils when I get a controller out to him. Realistically though, any 5v(sig) induction coil will work with this. It can even work on falling edge coils too. Any coil with a built in "ignitor" or smart coil will work as long as its a 5v trigger.

The glitch is all taken care of now, on the bench anyways. But here is a demo of two coils running on the DISSR using the JimStim as the driver. Basically all this is showing is the reset issue caused by poor grounding has been eliminated. 4 coils will be hooked up soon, but here's what I have so far.
And for anyone that is interested in this for their car, I am sorry it is taking so long. I've spent this entire semester focusing on PCB design. Trust me it will be well worth the wait.
