First test with Toyota 1ZZ coil. These put out around 23kv before breaking down. Not ideal for high hp. This test was from appx 1000 RPM to 5000 RPM as my Jim Stim cannot go higher than that. However 5000 RPM is around 80hz and that slow as fuck in the electronics world. This design uses a voltage isolator to separate the processor from the ignition driver. Doing this eliminates all continuity between the processor and the driver. I am using two power sources to drive this, really a piggy back power source. I use a 1-32vdc lab power source powering a power inductor supply. MORE POWER!!! The power inductor design will be adopted to the circuit board eventually, but it can provide up to 3amp current which is much better than a basic dc/dc converter. So without further ado, here is a video of the first digitally isolated DISSR.
