I want to add a little information for anyone interested.
This is a sequential ignition system and functions just like OEM
This can be used in a CNP, or COP configuration. Capacitive discharge system are currently untested but I feel good saying it will work.
This is currently being designed as an in engine bay installation. However, I am looking into building this directly into the ECU. This would mean an extra wiring harness would have to be fed through the firewall, but it would make for a much cleaner build.
The anticipated retail version will have a footprint roughly that of a silver dollar. Or less than 4 square inches. Fairly small.
Price; I cannot set a price range yet as this is still very early. However it will cost a lot less than any other available option.
Edit: Almost forgot. This can also be used on a few other models including those that use the ga16de, ka24de fwd & rwd.
