$38 out of the junkyard here. If you can mod it in a couple hours it wouldn't be a bad deal. I think there are a couple in the yards here, I may try one and see if I can clamp it in my lathe to get it turned down. I have always used distributors since I can't see paying $200 - $350 for the same thing without a coil and ignitor.

Thank you @Y2KG20. I've followed your build and you have put a lot of money in to it. I am glad to see you know where to put your money and where to save. If anyone has noticed yet, the physical sensor is the same senor used in the p12 cas. The only thing different between these to CAS is the mounting.

Also if anyone is wondering, I turned the pilot on my cas with a 3/8 bolt as an arbor an stuck the assembly in a electric drill then clamped it to a vice. Then used a file and emory cloth to shave it down. Took me about two hours or so. Mostly recharging the battery.

could a couple of copper washers fix that issue? the guy doing the maxima cas overcame a similar issue with a complex solution (my 2c).
