From 15min of searching, it looks like adruino could be used to communicate with consult via serial. Then using this, BTInterface Android Bluetooth controller for PC Laptop Arduino Raspberry Pi PIC and all Micro controllers. LADDER BASIC C++, you could likely pull the raw data. A nice GUI would do perfectly. Have your programmer buddy whip up an app for android, and bam.
Its not ideal, but it beats the hell out of building everything from scratch.
