AEM F/IC ? and info
i found a local guy selling a AEM F/IC-6 for a good price. do you guys have any input on the unit. maybe any experience with it. any info appreciated

I've used them before, they're actually pretty nice and easy to use once it's all wired up. Use the bare minimum with them though. Only control what you need to control if you know what I mean.

how much are you paying for it? I dont personally like them but i was using it on a lexus and they are a pain in the ass on them

You want to keep things as simple as possible with the FIC. If you get too many variables involved they can be a pita. I've used one on a lexus is300 @morgans432 and it was a complete disaster. Lexus ecu's are too smart. It would dump the tune after a couple of drives.

It is an excellent tuning tool, but it requires some work on your part and you will be very happy. Datalogging device or OBD2 scantool that can display o2 signals,fuel trim both long term, short term, maf voltage. outputs can be configured vvl, meth, nitrous, able to connect aem wideband, datalog.
OBD2 cars need o2 map to be utilized, especially 2 bank systems(3,4 o2 sensors.) AEM has very detailed videos on the AEM FIC.
Follow the videos, and check their forums. It isn't as bad as you think.
