OBD1 Honda ECU - B13 setups
**Please do not bash my thread because you resent Honda or any type of hybrids. This is for educational purposes that can benefit the community.**

I wanted to know if there are members here running a Honda ECU, (preferably a P28/ P06 with Neptune/ Demon software). Would you be so kind to share your setups? I've Google-d the crap out of this but, the sources and information are running thin. I understand there is a company in UTAH, by the name of Element Racing that has utilized Honda ECUs in their builds. I have contacted them but, with no response. While the adapter harness and MAP conversion isn't a problem, I am stumped on this dizzy situation. From what I read, a SOHC D16 dizzy should be utilized but, how? I look forward to your responses. Thank you for reading.

on my old setup I used a 30-1010 OBD2b AEM EMS v1 to run my B13 when I worked in a Honda shop(free hand me down ecu. had access to harnesses, plugs, map sensors, etc.)
I got my hands on a RNN14 Power FC used that while DE-T.
On VE-T used the AEM honda unit again, wired vtec to engage vvl, and have wondered the same if I were to use Hondata would I be able to get the car started? I am using the 24+1 cas disc which is the same pattern as Honda dizzy according to AEM. As for the wiring aspect I simply compared the B13 pinouts vs obd2b honda outputs for dizzy and was able to sync the car.

It has been done with a P28 i believe. During a certain time we had no ECU support and it was a viable option. Now with the NEMU and Nismotronic there is no reason to use one. Try searching the forum some more, there should be info out there, albeit very little info.

I already have a P28 ECU with Neptune/ Demon so, that saves me a pretty penny. The search function isn't the greatest on this board (or I simply don't know how to use it).

I appreciate the info on the 24-1 CAS; I'm going to look into that. Is it a drop-in into the DE dizzy?

I found the best way to search the forum is going though google. I just type in "sr20 forum nismotronic board" or something similar. Always have better luck finding what I need.

I have seen thread. It's one of the more informative ones out there. I don't have a obd1 Honda dizzy on me but, it seems if I can get an adapter plate made to mount the dizzy, and a shaft to run the sr20 gear, it should work. I really hope this is the extent of fabricating because this isn't too hard or expensive.
